Hello all! I hope someone out there can help me out.....
My Grandparents have a Jiminy Cricket light that has held a prominent place on their Christmas tree every year. This light bulb attaches to a regular strand of tree lights and is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches high. They have no idea where it came from - apparently it was handed down with my great-grandmother's xmas decorations when they moved onto the farmstead in 1952. I will try to get a photo and better description posted asap.
I have 'googled' myself to tears trying to find out some information about Jiminy and, other than one item posted on ebay (light bulbs that are quite different from our little friend) have found absolutely nothing relating to his history. We would like to know how old he is, whether there were any other characters available, and any other info regarding his history. He has been on the xmas tree since at least 1952 and still lights up for us each year! The tree just wouldn't be the same without him.
