Dayton Disneyana - 2011

Just an update on the event.

We should have confirmation on our Disney Guest(s) within the next few weeks. We are starting to already get vendors signed up for the event, where last year we had 53 tables of Disneyana (up from 32 tables the previous three years), we have up to 62 tables available for this year's event. We also will have a seperate Disney Pin Trading Room 23' x 50' with ten - 8 foot long tables that will accomodate 40-60 people at anyone time. This room will stay open from 5:00pm Friday till the end of the event at 3:00pm on Sunday. So if some of you happen to wake-up in the middle of the night from your Disney dreams (Darn those villains!), you can still pin trade with any sleep walkers that may have tracked to the pin trading room.

We also will have a special ticketed event on Friday night, which is a dinner with our special guest. You must pre-register for the event and seating will be limited. So the sooner the better.

The Dayton Plane Crazy chapter of the Disneyana Fan Club, is please to announce that Margaret Kerry, model/actress for Tinker Bell will be our special guest.  She will be signing autographs, taking pictures and giving a talk both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  She will also be at the special ticketed group dinner on Friday night.  (Remember you must pre-register for the dinner and seating is limited.)

Come meet the women who gave Tink all of those pixie emotions!

The Dayton PLANE CRAZY Chapter of the Disneyana Fan Club, is pleased to announce the addition of a second Disney Guest - Bill Farmer, the voice of Goofy (and the bark of Pluto) will be joining us for this family fun event!

Make a trip to the Dayton area, a mini-vacation.  Mention that you are here for the Dayton Disneyana Event and get the special rate of $79 + tax at Hoiliday Inn - Dayton Mall Thursday thru Sunday.  Reservations must be made by June 1st, to get this rate. 

Not enough Disney?  Well...........the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton, will have The Lion King performing during that time and a trip over to the United States Air Force Museum (Free admission) is a nice side-trip to see the Disney Pins on Wings Exhibit.

If anyone is thinking about attending this event...I would like to remind you that if you are coming from out of town and were staying overnight, the Event Hotel (Holiday Inn - Dayton Mall) has a special rate of $79 + tax if you mention that you are in town for the Dayton Disneyana Event.  To get this rate, reservations do have to be made by the end of this week (June 4th).  You can get this rate from Thursday (June 23th) thru Sunday (June 26th).

We still have some more spots for the special ticketed group dinner with our Disney Guests left, so if you were thinking about attending , please get your pre-registration in as quickly as possible.  If you would like to get in an hour before the general public, we do have an early bird entry at 9am on Saturday, which also gets you five raffle tickets for an opportunity to win some special Disney items and we will also supply you with some wake-up coffee.  The early bird will get you into the event on Sunday as well.
