Disney Jacket?
« on: March 02, 2011, 04:43:35 PM »
I was hoping someone could help me with the valuation of a jacket my mom bought in the early 90's while working for Disney.  I attached some photos.  Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I can't see your pictures.  But generally, Disney employee clothing doesn't command much of a premium in the market unless it's from Imagineering.  There are so many Disney employees over the years that there's not the kind of scarcity factor that would add to the value.  Overall, it's an "eye-of-the-beholder" kind of item.  If the item is new and unworn, it would probably sell for something close to what they sell in The Disney Stores or the theme parks.  If it's used at all, it's anyone's guess.  Good luck!

I got your pictures.  The jacket is one that was apparently available to the production crew in Disney Television.  It's a nice hero jacket with bold colorful patches featuring Mickey.  I'd expect it to sell for between $50-75.00 at auction.  Good luck!
