Alice in Wonderland Auto'd celluloid
« on: August 24, 2010, 08:35:47 PM »
I have a repro cell from the movie Alice in Wonderland, with an authentic autograph of Walt Disney.  It was part of a limited production, I believe 100 of each selected cell.  Signed "To Bob Dundas (my grandfather) Best Wishes, Walt Disney".  It's signed in red crayon.  I've seen one or two similar pieces on the web and have had people value it all over the place.  Any info would help, thanks.  If interested in it, my email address is charmer315@grandecom.net

Without seeing this item, it's impossible to even begin to assess its value.  If Walt actually signed this piece, it's certainly valuable but it couldn't possibly be a reproduction cel (sericel or limited edition) because he'd died some 20 years before Disney started to produce any such reproductions or limited edition items.  So you'll need to post some pictures of this before anyone can help you at all.  Good luck!
