Mini Tea Set

These are part of a 23 pcs. set, marked on the back simply "made in Japan". They were a gift to my mother-in-law when she was a child, sometime in the 1930's, unsure of the exact year. Set consists of 6 plates, 6 cups and 6 saucers, 1 teapot with lid, 1 creamer and 1 sugarbowl with lid. They appear to be in the original box as well. Hoping someone can help with identification and an approximate estimate of their value.

It would help in identifying this set if you could describe any markings on the bottom of the pieces, and the measurements of them. A picture of the box would be helpful, too. It will at least let me give you a reasonable guess as to the value.
