"FOR WHOM THE BULLS TOIL"
« on: June 28, 2010, 08:24:56 AM »
Hello everyone this weekend while we were out my wife bought a Disney watch at a garage sale because she said it was very cheap and in mint condition. I tried to research it when we got home and find very very little information on it. The watch she bought for ($10) is mint the watch has the price tag still on it the plastic that keeps the watch band in an oval shape, the display with the piece that hold the watch in the display. The watch also has the plastic still on the back of the watch and front protecting the face and silver back. The watch has the ticket of authenticity the Styrofoam package and popcorn box it came in all in mint condition. the watch is # 344 of 2000 and is labeled as FOR WHOM THE BULLS TOIL. If anyone could give me any more information on this watch or any sites that would help me guesstimate a value that would be great. I have only found 2 watches on the internet that are the same. One of them was only the watch no documentation the other had the display but there was a piece broken off. This one has never been worn and is just like it was when it was purchased with everything including the popcorn box

Thank you for your time

I could only find one reference to this watch online, which was from a dealer offering it for $45.00.  That might be close to a fair value for the watch, all things considered.  It's a little too "Disney" for a lot of people who are looking for something a little less conspicuous to wear everyday, so it would be most attractive to a Goofy collector who could add it to a display.  In any case, it's worth a lot more than $10.00 as long as its working. Good luck!
