« on: April 29, 2010, 08:47:55 PM »
Looking for information on this Charlotte Clark Minnie Mouse doll circa 1930's...15 inches tall... believe it to be authentic (?) Does anyone know an appraiser for this type of collectible. What is the cost of such an appraisal? We live in Missouri.

Charlotte Clark dolls of Mickey and Minnie from the 1930's are highly collectible.  I don't follow them closely, but my recollection is that they sold for several hundreds of dollars in the 1990's.  $300-500.00, anyway.  The current value may be a bit lower because of the economy, but not by much.  Good luck!

Well, you would certainly need to get yours authenticated by someone who really knows these dolls.  Tomart's is a reputable authority on vintage Disneyana and would certainly be knowledgeable.  I'm sure that if you contacted them they could give you some good advice.  Good luck!
