I have a 25yr 30yr & 35yr anniversary service brass trophies

Tinker bell, 25 year brass trophy. Jimmy cricket 30 year brass trophy. Pinnocchio 35 year brass trophy with a red apple. I really need help on pricing. i have a rough estimate on what they are worth. I need to sell. Thank you for whoever can help. i will post pics when i find my digital camera lol.

I'd hesitate to estimate the value of your trophies because they are so unusual.  Seeing the pictures will help judge their overall appeal to Disney collectors, but I can't say that I've ever seen these trophies offered for sale so I don't know how much anyone has ever been willing to pay for one.  The pluses are that they're rare Cast Member items and they depict popular Disney characters.  The minuses are that they're trophies, not figurines, and they're tied to an employee's specific service record and not some general award category like "Outstanding Achievement" or "World's Best Disney Something" which would have more emotional appeal for a collector.  So, once you consider these factors, you have to throw in the dodgy economy.  So it's a pretty tough call.

Thank you, its been a while since i have had time to post or do any research but i am finally getting around to it. I will post pictures tonight, currently at work. But a little about the trophy. My father has worked for disney about 38yrs now. And for a little wedding present he gave this to me to sell. This 35yr trophy is pure brass, as for them all. They weigh 7lbs and one weighs 8lbs. I saw a really old posting of a 25yr one going for 1800, on ebay. i will have to post pictures to show the real quality. keep posted and lmk

I suspect that $3000.00 might be a bit ambitious for this piece.  While he's gorgeous and rare, the collectibles market is very soft these days.  My advice would be to contact the Howard Lowery Gallery in the Los Angeles area at http://www.howardlowery.com/.  Howard is a well-known dealer who knows Cast Member items very well, and would be able to advise you.  Good luck!

I'm not really surprised that you had trouble selling this on eBay.  It's difficult to get a reasonable price on higher quality collectibles there if for no other reason that they get buried amid the trinkets.  I'd suggest that you contact Disney collectibles sites that carry similar items and say you'll entertain any offers.  I'm afraid it's not something I'd be interested in, but I would expect that you would be able to find someone who would be.

The other option that comes to mind would be to see if one of the better auctions like Hake's Americana might be able to help you sell it.  The downside is that it would take weeks or months before you'd see your money, but you would likely get a better price.  Good luck!
