Thanks Creeper - that is an intriguing idea, but I think it would be exceptionally difficult due to changing opinions (i.e. when a movie gets re-released, there is a resurgence of interest in the memorabilia), condition of items, and also, simply the sheer number of Disney items released over the decades. I have a huge book on memorabilia pricing and even it doesn't have everything that people ask me about!
I'll keep the idea in mind, but I'm unsure how someone like me (just a hobbyist) could implement such a complicated search tool.
