So Rare its One-Of-A Kind Sleeping Beauty Collectible!

This gorgeous production background measures 10.5" x 32" and features an untrimmed cel of Maleficent overlaid. In 1980 I bought this from the proprietor of Cherokee Books in Hollywood.  He told me that it was consigned, along with four other backgrounds, by the artist himself.  Sleeping Beauty (1959) was the last hand-drawn Technirama feature produced by Disney.   I never found out who that artist was, but I bet some of you would know.

My guess is that the artist who did this was Frank Armitage. He did Backgrounds for Sleeping Beauty and this looks like his style. I think he is still alive, you might want to send him an email.
