Hi RT,
The "new" tag is present when you have not viewed a topic, or that topic has replies you have not viewed.
If you wish to get rid of the tags, go into a forum (for example "Site Suggestions") and note in the upper right there is a "mark read" link. Click that and it will mark everything in that forum "read" and thus make the "new" tags go away.
The various nicknames are based upon the number of posts you have. For example, you achieve the next level nickname when you get to 50 posts.
As for other Disney sites, I do work with several others and am friends with the owners of several more. I used to live about 10 minutes from WDW, so I made contact with lots of other Disney nuts
