Disney Memorabilia

Everyone’s favorite antique television show will be taping three episodes in Orlando beginning June 30, 2006.  The location of the event has yet to be determined, but producers expect to draw over 6,000 people hoping to have an item appraised.  Because of high demand, interested parties are asked to visit the PBS website for ticket instructions.  The Orlando sessions will be the only available offerings in the Southeast region.

With its close proximity to Disney World, show organizers are expecting to see a large amount of Disneyana submissions.  This publicity could further bolster the growing segment of Disney memorabilia collectors.  Antiques Roadshow has a knack for finding lost treasures on their show, so perhaps we will see some rare collectibles from the Disney genre.  Unfortunately for those who can’t attend, the shows are not expected to air until 2008.
