From the Pinocchio staff and cast, this Walt Disney Christmas and New Years greeting card is a wonderful collectible!
A kind reader of the site shared this gem from 1939 with me the other day. Sadly there weren't any details included, but just looking at this incredible piece of Walt Disney history is enough to make a Disneyana collector giddy. The Christmas and New Year's greeting card features the signatures of what I'd guess is a large portion of the team that made the original Pinocchio movie. Featured in the very center is Walt's signature.

We have one too. It is in excellent condition and consists of 3 pages front and back with all of the characters and then Mickey, Minney, Pluto and Goofy at the end. The front is quite beautiful with a couvasiar ?sp. like Pinocchio holding a candle. An friend whose Dad worked for the studio in the late 30′s and early 40′s gave it to us.

Wow – that sounds very great, Walt! Thanks for sharing the info – it’s neat to know that there’s more of these out there. Feel free to send some photos in if you’d like to!

How much are you asking for the 1939 Holiday card?

I have a picture of snow white and the 7 drawfs.
You would go to the store buy a loaf of bread every week on the end wrapper would be a disney caracter. You would cut it out and paste it on the picture. This has to be about 55 years ago. I still have the picture. Do you have any information on this. What it might be worth.
