Disney Pixar Die Cast Cars

Have you seen the new pack of relentless collectors in the Disneyana community? They are the Disney Cars collectors and they have created a very competitive market for their collectibles. In fact, it is amazing what a Disney movie can do for a seemingly outdated niche. I used to collect die cast cars as a kid (although I must admit I wrecked a few in my time), but this was before the era of remote control cars, video games, and other advances in the toy market. First Disney Film: Alice’s Spooky Adventure

A detailed story behind the letter and a number of pictures are included, making this a must-see destination for all Disneyana collectors. [Read more →]

Charlotte Clark Mickey Mouse Dolls

Most collectors are familiar with Tomart Publications for their essential price guides, but you may not have known that they also feature a number of rare items for sale. While browsing their online collection, I came across this 1930 Charlotte Clark Mickey Mouse Doll that is currently listed for $17500. This is phenomenal piece that appears to be in very fine condition. This is one of those rare gems that most of us would be elated just to see in person…let alone own. [Read more →]
